We believe that home is often the best place for healing and living well. Through the Shirlinx Care Network, we coordinate services, monitor care, and personalize care plans so that patients receive the right support at the right time.

 

How It Works

For Patients / Families

  1. Initial Inquiry & Assessment
    You reach out (via website, phone, or referral) and provide basic information about the care need (e.g., companion care, nursing support, chronic illness, disability, respite).
    A care coordinator conducts a needs assessment to understand the individual's medical history, home environment, and the required services.

  2. Care Plan Design & Matching
    Based on the assessment, a customized care plan is created (tasks, frequency, duration).
    The system or coordinator matches you with one or more suitable caregivers (based on skills, availability, preferences).

  3. Onboarding & Orientation
    Caregiver(s) are introduced, background‑checked, trained (as needed), and briefed on the plan.
    You are provided with a schedule, a point of contact, and instructions on how to monitor or provide feedback.

  4. Care Delivery & Monitoring
    The caregiver provides agreed services (nursing, medical, personal, companionship, etc.).
    Shirlinx monitors performance, quality, and compliance, often via check-ins, dashboards, or site visits.
    Adjustments to the care plan are made flexibly as needs evolve.

  5. Review & Feedback
    Regular evaluations (weekly, monthly, or as needed) to assess patient outcomes, satisfaction, and refine the care plan.
    If needed, transitions to higher or lower intensity of care are managed.

  6. Closure or Transition
    If care is no longer needed, or the patient moves to another setting, the service is formally closed or transferred with handover and records.

 

For Caregivers

  1. Application & Screening
    Interested caregivers apply via the Shirlinx platform or referral.
    Background checks, credential verification, interviews, and reference checks are conducted.

  2. Enrollment & Training
    Once approved, caregivers receive orientation, training modules (clinical, soft skills, safety, documentation).
    They are given access to the care portal/app and guidelines for delivering services.

  3. Matching & Scheduling
    Caregivers are matched to patient assignments consistent with their skillset, availability, and preferences.
    They receive schedules, task lists, visit instructions, and contact info for coordinators.

  4. Care Provision & Reporting
    The caregiver attends care visits and performs the tasks agreed upon in the plan.

  5. Support & Supervision
    Caregivers receive ongoing supervision, coaching, and resources (clinical oversight, peer mentoring).
    Performance is periodically evaluated; feedback is provided.

  6. Payment & Recognition
    Caregivers are compensated according to agreed rates, with timely payment processes.
    Outstanding performance is recognized; opportunities for growth, training, and advancement are provided.
